    1. Hi Henry,
I liked your presentation-good use of props and a lot of great content. I had a few thoughts that you might want to consider. First off , why is it important to you (or to the audience) to learn how to load SLR cameras? Perhaps if you explain that in the beginning, it will provide more purpose and impact to your speech. Also, I know you were shifting your camera to obtain the best light, but I think it would be optimal if you could include your entire person in the shot, so that we can see you as you are explaining your content. Again, just a few small things that could bring your speech to the next level-great work!

    2. Hi Henry,

Great speech. I didn’t know how much preparation goes into getting certain cameras ready to use but I learned that today haha. I thought that your directions were easy to understand and it seems like you know your stuff when it comes to cameras which probably helped you articulate your directions so well. However, I think it would be even easier to follow your instructions if your face was in the shot. Other than that, great job!

    1. Hi Candace,

Your video was very impressive. I liked how you began your speech by talking about the importance of food and the contemporary issues surround food shortages, that was really well said. With that, you made a great transition from those points into the content of your video –planting seedlings– which provided quality information and easy to follow steps. Frankly, I cannot think of anything you could adjust. Just out of my own curiosity, maybe you could talk a little more about the compost you use. However, I do not think that is totally necessary.

    1. Hi Julia,

Your video was really well done! Your shot had good lighting and I think your camera angle gave a good view of what you were doing. With this, you were very articulate in what you were doing, and using a model made it easy to follow along with. The only thing I could think of is maybe adding a little extra to your conclusion. However, you did say a “Here you have a French braid”, but I think just one more statement could pull it all together!

    2. Hi Julia, I liked your video-creative idea! I could see what you were doing very well and I feel like I would be able to french braid as a result of your instruction! Just a couple of ideas that might make a big impact. First off, perhaps in your introduction you could explain why is it important for you or your audience to learn this skill. In addition, if the audience could see your face a little bit more, especially in the conclusion, I think it would seem more interactive. (I understand why you can’t constantly be in the frame due to the nature of the skill and to avoid revealing your model’s face) Great work on this!

    3. Hi Julia,
Great speech. I thought your camera angle for your demonstration was great. Your instructions were articulate and the model made it that much easier to follow along with. I think it would help if you could get yourself in the frame a little bit more. I know it’s not the most necessary thing since you are using a model for your demonstration but I think it’s even easier to follow if you can see the person that’s giving the instructions.

    1. Hi Sam,

I think this was a really well executed speech! Your directions were concise and easy to follow. With that, the lighting in your video was really good and made it easy to follow along. I’m having some difficulty coming up with something you could adjust, I feel like you nailed it. Maybe you could talk a bit more about what taping a hokey stick does, I suppose? Like maybe saying if you think it helps you control the puck better. However, I don’t think that is totally necessary.

    2. Hi Sam-wow, great speech! I loved how you explained why you thought taping a hockey stick was a skill. You were in the camera frame the whole time while you demonstrated the skill, which kept my attention. You had great eye contact with the audience. I think you had a quick, yet sufficient conclusion-maybe make it a bit longer, but not sure if that would be necessary. Excellent work!
